Change your mindset, change your life. Keep your thoughts on everything that is wrong with your life and you will continue to follow that path. Change your focus to what you want and where you want to be, and set the path in motion. Will this change your life overnight? Of course not, but it sets the chain in motion. I know it’s hard not to think about the negative things, but you can’t fixate on them. Address the issues in a positive light, instead of thinking: “I don’t have money to pay my bills” think “I almost have all the money to pay my bills”, I know it sounds silly but you’ll start feeling better immediately. We’ve all heard the saying look on the bright side and no matter how bad something may seem there is always a bright side, you just have to look a little harder to find it sometimes, but trust me, it’s worth the effort.
Now to bring this thought process to your health, fitness, and diet. Every little change is a step in the right direction and should be the focus of your attention. If you lost 5 pounds and have 50 to go: focus on how far you’ve come, not how far you have to go. Same goes for dietary changes and exercise, keep your attention on the positive changes you’ve made, do not focus on slip ups, or days you skip exercise.
A positive thought process will yield positive results. Set yourself up for success from within. I can and I will….
