Social Breakdown

So I don’t know why I do it , but for some stupid reason when I go to Yahoo to check my e-mail, if a headline catches my eye I read it. Sounds simple, but I’m too stupid to stop with the poorly written article; I then read the comments below the article.

Once again I’m not sure why, but I expect people to have at the very least a shred of decency, but I end up disappointed every time. What ever happened to “if you don’t have something nice to say, say nothing at all”? I guess I’ll never understand the need for people to be so hateful towards each other. Total strangers attacking each other from the safety their computer keyboard, for no good reason other than blinding hate for anything that goes against their own personal belief system.

So called christians “praying” for bad to happen to none christians, everything ends up political and racist, and all this happens regardless of the topic of the article. I have to say it’s disheartening; at least to me it is.

I’m not sure when empathy became a bad thing, or why anyone who shows empathy becomes the target. This has nothing to do with politics, race, religion, my hair style and tattoos, or what music I listen to and my favorite baseball team. It’s just showing compassion, having patience, and plain and simple KINDNESS toward each other.

But then again what do I know, I voted for Gary Johnson…….
